Success

We are fortunate to help make a difference in the lives of many young people and are enduringly grateful for that opportunity.

In our 26th year, the Children’s Aid Society Carrera Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program continues to touch the lives of teens and their families nationwide. Seeing and feeling the results on a day-to-day basis is what makes us strive to reach more young people. We put a premium on engaging teens, with a gentle, generous and forgiving approach even when a young person seems not to care. Teens often forget what we say or do, but they rarely forget how we make them feel. We help by caring, being present, and offering a stable environment and always communicating that they are special. Caring is the context in which all help occurs. Genuine caring for teens is our principle currency.

The following is a list of some New York City teens and adults who graduated from college with the support of the Children's Aid Society Carrera program.
