Federal: Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention
An astounding 4 out of every 10 teenage girls becomes pregnant by age 20. For 26 years, The Children’s Aid Society’s Carrera Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program has improved the lives of young people and their families nationwide, and continues to produce extraordinary results. This funding, which would expand the program to eight new states and serve thousands of additional young women and men, is in jeopardy.

The most effective way to assist is to call both the District and Washington DC offices of your US Senators and let them know the importance of retaining funding for this program. Protect adolescent pregnancy prevention--please call, fax or email Senators Schumer and Gillibrand today. Sample text for email and fax communications is available here.
